Our Staff

We are a family friendly place - with a rather whacky bunch of teachers who are all trained and experienced in working with  young children and their families - some of us are parents ourselves,  some are not, but we all share the same love of what we do and what we love, we do well.

We keep a full photo resume of our staff at the reception - so if you need to know more .. Then do check it out - but a  key factor in our staff choice is enthusiasm, a genuine love of children, great language skills and an ability to be more than just facilitators in your child’s learning experience - early childhood education is all about the communication and rapport between parents, children and their teachers - so that’s the core of our teaching beliefs.

Our School Environment

Our large studios are naturally light and open plan allowing freedom of space to move and explore independently and our garden activity areas provide fabulous play spaces to explore, make a mess and above all ENJOY !

Children have an innate ability to recognise “things of beauty” and from an early age should, in our humble opinion, be surrounded by a rich and creative environment, with natural materials, textiles and hand painted murals to surprise and delight.

Toys and equipment

If you are going to provide a premium programme, then the equipment you use must reflect this - call us old fashioned but you won’t find any plastic, flashing, beeping, electronic gizmos at PlayDays, only internationally sourced, quality toys that provide valuable learning and wonderful tactile experiences.
